HTeaO is one of my favorite spots for a few reasons:
- It’s a Texas based company
- Their drinks don’t cost an arm and a leg (IM LOOKING AT YOU STARBUCKS)
- Their pellet ice is amazing
- They have a LARGE selection of sugar free flavors
It is no wonder that this company is growing really fast, and I am here for it!
What Sugar Free Flavors Are Available At HTeaO?
As of 2024, the sugar free flavors available at HTeaO are Unsweet Blueberry (caffeine free), Unsweet Coconut, Unsweet Georgia Peach, Unsweet Green, Unsweet Mint, Unsweet Peach Ginger, Unsweet Regular, Unsweet Regular (decaf), Unsweet Watermelon, Unsweet Wild Raspberry and Sweet Zero.
What Do The Sugar Free Drinks At HTeaO Taste Like?
The unsweetened flavors at HTeaO are very refreshing and delicious! The fruit flavors are subtle and don’t taste artificial which I really like.
HTeaO’s Sweet Zero is made with Stevia. It does have a slight fake sugar aftertaste, but when paired with a strong unsweet tea flavor, it really isn’t too noticable.
What Fruit Toppings Are Available At HTeaO?
Blueberries, strawberries, lemons, limes, oranges, cucumbers and mint leaves are all of the fresh toppings available at HTeaO.
Cherries are available to add to your drink, but they come jarred in syrup.
Peaches and pineapples are also available and come canned in syrup.
Are The Fruit Toppings at HTeaO Sugar Free?
The fruit toppings at HTeaO are NOT sugar free. However, I would argue the amount of fruit that is put into your drink isn’t enough to cause concern.
To be safe, I would stick to the fresh fruit options available at HTeaO and avoid the canned/jarred fruit toppings.
What Drinks Can NOT Be Made Sugar Free At HTeaO?
All the sweet teas will have sugar.
From the secret menu, the Cowboy, Wedding Cake, Very Violet, Pink Flamingo, Coconut Sunset, Mango Tango, Apple Pie, Blueberry Muffin, and Gingerbread Man can NOT be made sugar free.
Is HTeaO Lemonade Sugar Free?
The pink lemonade is not sugar free because it is made with cane sugar.
Does HTeaO Carry Sugar Free Syrups?
HTeaO carries sugar free caramel syrup and sugar free vanilla syrup.
What Milk Does HTeaO Carry?
HTeaO carries whole milk, half & half, heavy cream, almond milk and oat milk.
According to an employee I spoke with on the phone, the almond milk is Blue Diamond and has 7g of added sugar per serving (8oz).
The oat milk is from the brand Thirster (US Foods) and has 4g of added sugar per serving (8oz).
What Coffees Can Be Made Sugar Free At HTeaO?
From their coffee menu, the drinks that are sugar free are the Americano, Batch Brew, and Iced Coffee.
Lattes and tea lattes can be customized to contain no added sugar. There will of course be sugar coming from the milk, but you can opt for one of their sugar free syrups to flavor your coffee.
Is The Liquid Gold Sugar Free?
The Liquid Gold at HTeaO contains caramel sauce, half & half and house drip iced coffee.
The caramel sauce is NOT sugar free, so the Liquid Gold can not be made sugar free.
Can The Horchata Be Made Sugar Free?
HTeaO’s Horchata contains cinnamon powder, cinnamon syrup, vanilla syrup, half & half and house drip iced coffee.
The cinnamon syrup and vanilla syrup are NOT sugar free, so the Horchata can not be made sugar free.
Is The Chai Tea Sugar Free?
No, the chai tea is sweetened and can not be made sugar free.
Are The HTeaO Energy Shots Sugar Free?
HTeaO offers four flavors of energy shots: sweet watermelon, sweet peach, sweet blueberry green, and sweet lemon.
Unfortunately, the HTeaO energy shots are NOT sugar free. All of the flavors have seven grams of added sugar.
Are The Hydration Boosters Sugar Free?
HTeaO offers LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes. As implied by it’s name, they are sugar free. The four flavors offered as of 2024 are citrus salt, raspberry salt, orange zest, and raw unflavored.
Are There Any Food Options For Diabetics At HTeaO?
HTeaO has a lot of snack options for diabetic customers to choose from.
They offer sunflower seeds, popcorn, protein bars, Clif bars, KIND bars, beef jerky, and pork rinds!
Food options may vary by location, so make sure to check their website before you get there if you want to plan ahead.

In order for me to write these kinds of posts, I either call or physically drive to these establishments.
For this particular post, I contacted five different HTeaO’s. Every single staff member I spoke to knew the answers to my questions. This is a stark contrast to other establishments I’ve called.
HUGE shout out to whoever is training the staff in the DFW area and the staff members themselves for being so knowledgable about their beverages and being open to talking. I can not emphasize enough how much it means to myself and others.
