Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and I am always on the hunt to find activities that the whole family can enjoy. Coming from the Northeast region, I take all fall activities very seriously and won’t settle until I find the perfect pumpkin to bring home!
Here is a list of the BEST pumpkin patches in North Texas!
COUNTRY CRITTERS FARM
Where: 3709 County Road 617, Alvarado, TX 76009.
Cost: $12 per person. Children 2 years and under are free. Senior tickets are $6 per person.
Payment: Credit cards and cash accepted
Pets Allowed: No
Things To Do: Bounce houses, petting zoo, tractor and train playground, pony rides, pumpkin patch and more.
Available From: October 2nd-November 14th, 2021. Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00AM-5:00PM. Gates close at 4:00PM. The patch is open weekdays by reservations only.
HALL’S PUMPKIN FARM
Where: 3420 Hall Johnson Road, Grapevine Texas
Cost: Adults & Kids 12 years and older $15, kids 4-11 are $10, and kids younger than 4 are free. Hayrides are an additional $5 during the day and $3 at night.
Payment: Cash Only
Pets Allowed: No
Things To Do: Hall’s Pumpkin Farm offers a pumpkin farm, hay rides, tractor hayrides, a petting zoo, a two-acre corn maze, and more!
Available From: October 1st-October 31st 2021; The farm is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays with the exception of Columbus Day. Wednesday and Thursday 3PM-8PM, Friday 3PM-9PM, Saturday 10AM-9PM, Sunday 1PM-8PM
STORYBROOK RANCH
Where: 3701 S. Custer Rd. McKinney, TX
Cost: $15 for children 2 and older. Adults are $5. Children under 2 years of age are free. Ticket price does not include pony rides or pumpkins.

Pets Allowed: No
Things To Do: Slide bounce house, obstacle course, hay maze, field day games, pony and horse rides

YESTERLAND FARM IN CANTON
Where: 15410 Interstate 20, Canton, TX 75103
Cost: Tickets cost $21.95 if you purchase them online and $27.95 at the gate. Kids 2 and under are free.
Payment: Credit cards and cash are accepted
Pets Allowed: Yes, but it depends on the breed. Their website states that socialized and personable dogs are allowed, but not ones that are used as guard dogs.
Things To Do: Yesterland has a pumpkin farm, a three acre corn maze, ferris wheel, petting zoo, rides, games, live music, and more!
Available From: September 18th-November 7, 2021. In October, the farm is open on Fridays & Saturdays from 10AM-10PM and 10AM-7PM on Sundays. In November, the farm is open on Saturdays & Sundays from 10AM-6PM
LONE STAR FAMILY FARM
Where: 4199 US-67, Stephenville, TX 76401
Cost: $16.50 per person. Children 2 years and under are free. All tickets must be purchased online prior to entry.

Pets Allowed: No
Things To Do: Corn maze, hay bale maze, cow train ride, corn cannon, petting zoo and more.

FLOWER MOUND PUMPKIN PATCH
Where: 5100 Cross Timbers Rd, Flower Mound TX 75028
Cost: Admission is free, but parking will cost $10 from Mondays-Fridays and $20 on Saturdays & Sundays. Due to COVID, you will need to make a reservation online before you go.
Payment: Payment is processed online via PayPal after you make a reservation.
Pets Allowed: Yes
Things To Do: Cartoon character cutouts, a hay maze, a little train, hay rides, and local vendors for you to purchase food like kettle corn.

ELVES FARM
Where: 601 Harvey Lane, Denison, TX 75020
Cost: Pumpkin tours are $10 per person and includes all activities and a small pumpkin. Ride along tours are $5 per person and it does not include a pumpkin.
Payment: Credit cards and cash accepted. Credit cards must have a minimum purchase of $5

DALLAS ARBORETUM
Where: 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218
Cost: Tickets for adults aged 13-64 are $17. Seniors aged 64+ are $14. Children aged 2-12 are $12, and children under 2 are free. Parking purchased online is $10 and parking purchased at the gate is $15.
Payment: Credits cards and cash are accepted
Pets Allowed: Only licensed service animals are permitted into the Arboretum
Things To Do: Hay bale maze, pumpkin patch, and a gift shop. Every Thursday, the Arboretum offers a scavenger hunt through their Pumpkin Village. The Arboretum also offers live music, Mommy & Me sessions, seasonal tastings and cooking sessions.
Available From: September 18th-October 31st, 2021. The Arboretum is open everyday from 9:00AM-5:00PM.
THE GENTLE ZOO
