Disclaimer: I am in no way, shape, or form sponsored by Sam’s Club. I am just writing this review to help other shoppers before buying.
Summer calls for ice cream. I don’t make the rules.
So when I saw Keto Pint’s Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars at my local Sam’s Club, I knew I had to add them to my cart instantly!
What Is This Product?
Keto Pint describes this product as “savory caramel ice cream dipped in a smooth milk chocolate coating and sprinkled with vanilla crunchies. A sweet and salty symphony that will leave you wanting more.”
Keto Pint also offers a variety of other flavors that I would love to try, such as mango, triple berry, chocolate fudge and butter pecan!

How Much Do The Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars Cost?
At my local Sam’s Club, a package costs $12.46. This price will, of course, vary by location.

How Many Bars Come In The Package?
There are 12 ice cream bars per package. Each bar costs $1.04. In my opinion, I think this price point is super reasonable.
Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars Nutrition Facts
One Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bar is 190 calories. There are 17g of total fat, 15g of carbs, and 4g of protein.

This product contains nuts (almonds), egg, milk and soy. This product was processed on equipment that processes milk, peanuts, tree nuts, and wheat.

How Does This Bar Compare To Other Keto Ice Cream Bars?
The brand Enlightened sells a Caramel Dark Chocolate Peanut bar that is similar in nutrition. Halo Top also sells a Sea Salt Caramel bar that is comparable.
The Enlightened bar and Halo Top bar have 2g of net carbs while the Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch bar has 3g of net carbs.
However, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends looking at total carbohydrates instead of net carbs. This is because fiber and sugar alcohols may partially metabolize and impact blood sugar, so you can’t completely rule them out when counting carbs.
The term “net carbs” is also not legally defined by the FDA and there is not enough research to suggest only counting net carbs.
In order of most carbs to least carbs, it would be Keto Pint (15g), Halo Top (13.5g), and finally Enlightened (12g).
What Do The Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars Taste Like?
Honestly if I did a blind taste test I would never know that these bars weren’t “real” ice cream. Out of Enlightened, Halo Top, and Keto Pint, the best tasting one is definitely Keto Pint.
The bar itself was a good size. Normally, I would want more than one but I found that I was fully satisfied with just one bar.
The chocolate doesn’t break into a million pieces and the caramel is a perfect balance of sweet and salty. While I am not normally a “crunch”, I found that the almond pieces really added to the overall mouthfeel of the product.
The only negative that I can think of for this product was that the texture of the caramel may be a little too thick for some people. But in all honesty, the almonds really helped to break up the caramel so I didn’t find it to be an issue at all.
There also wasn’t any fake sugar aftertaste or gritty/icy/protein-y taste to the ice cream. My biggest issue with Halo Top is that it has a grainy texture to it and I always need more than one bar to be satisfied.

Are Keto Ice Cream Bars Good For Diabetics?
Low carb ice creams typically use artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, and fiber to lower the toal carbohydrate amount of the product and blunt blood sugar spikes.
Therefore, keto ice cream bars can be a great alternative for diabetics because they are lower in calories and sugar than regular ice cream.
Just for comparison, a Magnum Almond Duet Crunch Bar has 21.3g of carbs, which is 6.3g more than the Keto Pint bars.
At the same time, it is possible to have non-keto ice cream if you are diabetic. It is all about being smart with your choices and pairing foods effectively. For example, if you are looking to have full sugar ice cream, you may want to have a more moderate portion of carbs at dinner.
Would I Recommend Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars?
If you’re looking for a lower sugar treat for the summer to keep in your freezer, I would absolutely recommend adding these bars to your cart!
Personally, I think these bars are really tasty and reasonably priced. If you’re just purchasing it from your local supermarket, it’s going to be at least $0.50 more expensive per bar.
Given that there are only 12 bars in the bulk package, I think that you’d be able to finish the package without getting bored.
Conclusion
I hope that you enjoyed this review on the Keto Pint Salted Caramel Almond Crunch Bars and that it helps you make informed purchasing decisions for whatever health concerns you may have.
Remember that all foods can fit in your diet and that you do not have to fully cut out anything! It’s all about balance.
