Disclaimer (#2): I am NOT affiliated with Swig in any way and was NOT sponsored to write this post. I am just addicted to silly little beverages.
Have you heard of Swig? Think Sonic if they just focused on beverages, and that is what Swig is (but with inferior ice).
Swig locations have been popping up everywhere around me, and for good reason! It seems that the dirty soda trend is here to stay. And if you know me, you know I love a beverage. So of course I had to explore their menu!
What sugar free flavors are available at Swig?
Swig currently carries sugar free coconut, sugar free mango, sugar free peach, sugar free pineapple, sugar free raspberry, sugar free vanilla, sugar free strawberry, and sugar free watermelon.
This is honestly such a large selection of sugar free flavors that it doesn’t make you feel like you’re missing out at all. STARBUCKS I’M LOOKING AT YOU!! STEP IT UP!!
What drinks can be made sugar free at Swig?
Most of Swig’s Sodas, Revivers, Refreshers and Teas can be made sugar free. You just need to look at the add ins in each drink combination and see if they’re sugar free/can be made sugar free.
For example, the Dragon Dew is a seasonal favorite that has Mountain Dew, lemonade, dragon fruit, raspberry puree, vanilla cream and frozen dragon fruit. The way I would modify this drink would be by switching the Mountain Dew to Diet Mountain Dew, removing the lemonade and vanilla cream, swapping the raspberry puree with raspberry syrup, and keeping the dragon fruit and frozen dragon fruit. While the dragon fruit and frozen dragon fruit do have sugar, it is just the natural sugar in the fruit (no added sugar). You can certainly just opt for either the dragon fruit or frozen dragon fruit if you didn’t want both.

What sugar free sodas does Swig carry?
Swig carries the following sugar free sodas: Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite Zero, Pepsi Zero, Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper Zero. Swig also has sparkling water that you can add to your beverage.
Does the hot chocolate at Swig have sugar?
Yes, the hot chocolate at Swig has sugar. The hot chocolate at Swig has sugar in the premade mix, so there is no way to modify that drink to be sugar free.
Is the lemonade at Swig sugar free?
The lemonade at Swig is not sugar free. Swig does not currently offer lemonade in a sugar free variety.
Is the vanilla cream at Swig sugar free?
No, the vanilla cream at Swig is not sugar free.
However, you can customize the amount of vanilla cream that they put in your beverage.
For example, two pumps of vanilla cream are normally added to a medium. But, you can request the team member making your drink to only add one pump of vanilla cream. That way, you are still getting the flavor you want without the standard amount of sugar that they add.

Are the fruit purees at Swig sugar free?
No, the fruit purees at Swig are not sugar free.
Just like the vanilla cream, you are also able to customize the amount of fruit puree that is added in your drink.
Is the Reviver at Swig sugar free?
Reviver is Swig’s propriety energy drink that they offer customers. Swig offers their Reviver energy drink in both regular and sugar free varieties.
Does Swig have sugar free slushies?
Swig gives customers the ability to blend their drinks so that there is a slushie-like texture.
Team members do NOT add a sugar base during the blending process, so if you asked for your sugar free beverage blended, it would still be sugar free. This is different from other places like Starbucks that add sugar pumps to their frappuccinos (blended beverages) to keep the drink from separating.

What are the best sugar free drinks at Swig?
My favorite sugar free soda combinations at Swig are the Save Me Jade (diet Dr Pepper with sugar free vanilla and sugar free coconut), the Big Al (Diet Coke with sugar free coconut and fresh lime) and the Loop-T-Loop (Sprite Zero with sugar free strawberry, sugar free watermelon, and sugar free peach).
I also love their Fruit Water with sparkling water and Summer Splash (sub sugar free strawberry for strawberry puree) with sparkling water.
I haven’t had the sugar free Reviver, but my friends love the Drama Queen (sugar free Reviver with sugar free strawberry, sugar free peach, and sugar free coconut) without lemonade!
Are the cream pops at Swig sugar free?
The three cream pop flavors available at Swig are the Pineapple Whip cream pop, Shark Attack cream pop, and Strawberry Breeze cream pop. The Pineapple Whip cream pop has 110 calories while the Shark Attack and Strawberry Breeze cream pop have 120 calories.
Currently, there are no sugar free cream pops at Swig.
Are there any food options for diabetics at Swig?
Swig currently offers pretzel bites (salted and cinnamon sugar), sugar cookies (regular and mini sized) and mini chocolate chip cookies. Swig also offers strawberry cream cheese and white cheddar dip to go with the pretzel bites.
I don’t necessarily think any of these food options are catered to diabetics. However, that doesn’t mean that a person with diabetes can’t have a fun treat every now and then.
If you do decide to purchase one of these food items, just make sure that the rest of your day is balanced!
